Effective career management is not just having a great resume any more. The resume remains a key component but you need to take a proactive stance and integrate multiple other factors into your career search. Today, a resume needs to be filled with keywords and accomplishments and you need to develop an effective network to introduce you to potential career opportunities. Effective strategies will incorporate both a real life network as well as a social media strategy starting with a LinkedIn profile but expanding to Facebook and Twitter.
