First, under professional headline, be sure to leverage your brand, that is, say what you DO! I could just say Career Coach on mine, but instead it’s my BRAND and reads: Career Strategist & Executive coach, teaching others to leverage social media to manage their careers! See the difference in the impact?

Next, under Current profession, leave it BLANK. If you put nothing under the section, it won’t show up under your public profile. The recruiters and hiring authorities with which I regularly network say they would rather see the current section blank than filled with nonsense like “CEO of Branding Me.”
